Barcelona Guide Update

The Summer season is now well underway, with warm sunny days every day, a great time to grab your swimming costume and pop down to one of Barcelona's beaches. For those of you thinking of visiting Barcelona in the next few months the Summer sales are just around the corner. Starting in the first week of July until the end of August shops all over the city will be slashing their prices by as much as 50%. If you love shopping then this is a great time to visit the city. Aim to arrive here in July to make the most of the sales. At this time there is still a lot of variety of sale items in the stores. Towards the mid of August many of the best items have been snapped up by avid shoppers. August can also be a very hot and humid month which can make any physical activity a bit of an ordeal. So why not book a flight over in July and enjoy one of the best month's to be visiting in Barcelona.

We have investigated this problem and it is mostly likely down to 2 possible issues. One of these is if you have SKYPE installed on your PC the other is to do with Adobe Acrobat. Well it looks like no sooner had I said the sunny weather is here, it started raining here in Barcelona. It has been pelting down for the last 2 days. This is the time to find indoor activities like shopping, descovering a cosy tapas bar or simply exploring some of Barcelonaīs architectural masterpieces like Casa Batllo or La Pedrera by Antoni Gaudi. There is also the Barcelona Aquarium which you can visit which is indoors. Lets hope the rain clears up soon and we can return to blue skies and sunshine!

May 5, 2008 22:04 - The sunshine and warm weather is here at last!

I have waited a few weeks before posting this message because I wanted to make sure that the good weather is really is here to stay. I can confirm that beautiful blue skies, warm weather and sunshine are the order of the day in Barcelona. I walked along the beach front today and people are already lying out on the sandy beaches soaking up the sunshine. This is the best time of year for me in Barcelona. The weather is comfortably warm and it is not yet too crowded. But donīt wait too long to visit us. June, July and August are in the peak season and the city is at its busiest.
