Tips: my husband and I (both retired) have just returned from a trip to Barcelona and found your site invaluable. We booked cheap flights from Doncaster to Gerona and transfers through ResortHoppa. For a total of £26 we were transported to and from our hotel in la ramblas by TAXI. Even by coach (which is what we expected) it worked out cheaper than the bus. It was a pleasant and unexpexted addition to a great trip. Hope this is useful and many thanks for your info. My husband has walking difficulties but using the Hop on Hop off tourist bus meant we saw all the major attractions. And Barcelona has so many seats - ideal for older people.
