Barcelona Guide Update

I have waited a few weeks before posting this message because I wanted to make sure that the good weather is really is here to stay. I can confirm that beautiful blue skies, warm weather and sunshine are the order of the day in Barcelona. I walked along the beach front today and people are already lying out on the sandy beaches soaking up the sunshine. This is the best time of year for me in Barcelona. The weather is comfortably warm and it is not yet too crowded. But don´t wait too long to visit us. June, July and August are in the peak season and the city is at its busiest.

May 10, 2008 17:47 - Rain for 2 days in Barcelona

Well it looks like no sooner had I said the sunny weather is here, it started raining here in Barcelona. It has been pelting down for the last 2 days. This is the time to find indoor activities like shopping, descovering a cosy tapas bar or simply exploring some of Barcelona´s architectural masterpieces like Casa Batllo or La Pedrera by Antoni Gaudi. There is also the Barcelona Aquarium which you can visit which is indoors. Lets hope the rain clears up soon and we can return to blue skies and sunshine!
