Guide to Transfer from Barcelona Airport to Lloret de Mar
Lloret de Mar is one of the Costa Brava's most well-known resorts. It sits approximately 75 kilometres north of Barcelona.

Transfer to Lloret de Mar from Barcelona Airport by Train
There are no direct trains from Barcelona Airport to Lloret de Mar. Therefore, it is necessary to take a train into the centre of Barcelona to head out towards the north of Catalunya.
Take the Barcelona Airport Train - The C2 to Estacio Sants. If you are arriving into Terminal 1 (T1) you will not be able to walk straight to the train station, as it is 4km away. You will need to take a shuttle bus from outside the terminal.
At Estacio Sants you will need to change. There are no trains directly to Lloret de Mar - it is necessary to catch a train to Blanes and catch a bus from there.
To find out the time of this train it is necessary to go to the local trains section of the Renfe website - Cercanías. The train that you will be catching is the C1 - destination Blanes. The journey lasts approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. There are two trains which leave for Blanes every hour.
The Pujol Coach company schedule shuttle buses from directly outside Blanes Train Station. Times vary depending on the day of the week, however they normally run twice per hour - the journey lasts approximately 20 minutes. The price of the bus journey is small (approximately €2.00). Transfer to Lloret de Mar from Barcelona Airport by Coach
There is no coach directly from Barcelona Airport to Lloret de Mar. You will have to go into the centre of Barcelona to catch a coach - from Barcelona Nord.
If you are coming from the airport, there is no direct route from the airport to Barcelona Nord. A taxi will cost around €25.00 and take approximately 25 minutes.
Catching the bus to Barcelona city centre may prove slightly easier than the train for getting Barcelona Nord coach station. The Aerobus -Barcelona Airport Express Bus from both T1 and T2 - and the normal TMB Airport bus and the Barcelona Airport Nightbus N17 all go to Plaça Espanya. From Plaça Espanya you can change to the Metro and take the (Red Line, L1) directly to Arc de Triomf.
It is not possible to reserve a ticket in advance, so you should simply buy it at the coach station on arrival. Coaches run approximately seven times per day and the journey lasts 1 hour. For exact details of the timetable and ticket prices check the Sarfa Website.
Transfer to Lloret de Mar from Barcelona Airport by Bus
There is no direct bus from Barcelona Airport to Lloret de Mar. It is necessary to head towards the city centre and take a coach or train from there. The Aerobus Guide to the Aerobus - Barcelona Airport Express Bus travels to Plaça Espanya. From Plaça Espanya you can catch the green line on the Metro two stops to Estacio Sants. From Esatcio Sants you can take the train to Lloret de Mar (see above for more details). If you wish to take the coach to Lloret de Mar, it is best to take the bus to Plaça Espanya and head to Barcelona Nord from there (see above for more details).
Transfer to Lloret de Mar from Barcelona Airport by Taxi
The distance from Barcelona Airport to Lloret de Mar is approximately 75 km. This will take about one hour in a taxi, costing around €70.00.
