Budget accommodation for a match If you just want to stay in a budget hotel then you could stay anywhere in Barcelona that has a metro (underground) stop next to it. As a rough guide of how long your metro journey will be use our Barcelona metro map and assume it will take on average 2.5 minutes per stop (I've tested this rule of thumb on different routes and it's pretty much accurate - except on Sundays when you should allow an additional 10 minutes to your overall final calculated time because the metro trains run less frequently).
