Barcelona Colon Monument (Photo 1 of 10)

Commissioned in 1888 Colom towers an impressive 60 meters into the skyline. Unfortunately from the base of the monument you can't see the statue of Christopher Columbus at the top. But this shot does give you an idea of just how tall this tribute is.
