Recommenations For Hotels In Barcelona City Centre?
Page Content
Q: I'm going to visit Barcelona for an appointment in Les Corts district which is 15 minute ride by subway from the heart of the city centre. Because we are only 1 and a half days in Barcelona we'd like to choose a 3 or 4 stars hotel in the town centre, where we can move by foot to discover the town. Do you have any hotel recommendations? Thank you.
A: If you want to be in the heart of the city centre, where you can walk out of your hotel and you are right in the middle of it all then I recommend you stay on or near La Rambla or in the Barri Gotic area. You can walk around this area of the city centre and there are dozens of sites of interest and you are in the very heart of Barcelona centre. You will also be in the right location for the best transport connections in the city centre with Plaça Catalunya offering connections via Metro, train, bus and taxi. However bear in mind since this is the very heart of Barcelona there will be some inevitable street noise, so I recommend you choose a hotel with double glazing and choose a floor in the hotel that is as high up from ground level as possible.
Although we cannot recommend individual hotels we have written comprehensive reviews of some of the most popular hotels in Barcelona and linked these reviews to a Barcelona Hotel Map. The hotel map will enable you to see hotels in specific locations in Barcelona. You can then choose which star rating you want and you can then read our review of that hotel. We have also linked many of the hotel reviews to an online hotel reservation service where you can book your hotel. Please see the links below that will help you learn more about hotels, sites and attractions in the La Rambla and Barri Gotic areas of Barcelona.
