How to take a bicycle from Barcelona Airport to the city centre?

Q: I am flying into Barcelona BCN airport with a bicycle (it will be in a large bag) and need to get to the city center. What are my transportation options?

A: You have 3 options:

1. Airport Van Taxi - you just need to indicate to one of the Taxi attendants at any taxi rank outside the airport terminals that you need a van taxi. Van Taxis are available at all the airport taxi ranks however you may need to wait a little longer for one to arrive. Van taxis have a lot more room for large objects like this.

2. RENFE train from Terminal 2

3 Car hire directly from Barcelona airport.

You would not be permitted however to carry a bike onto either the Aerobus or TMB bus.
