Q: My husband and I came to Barcelona last week, we were unable to get a taxi to take us to the bus station, I telephoned Radio Taxi who said they would send a cab I explained my husband is a wheelchair user and we needed a big taxi, when it arrived the driver saw the wheelchair and refused to take us. A number of Radio Taxi's refused to take us because of the wheelchair. Eventually the Police assisted us and told a taxi driver he must take us. We missed our bus and it cost €130.00 to go to the plane. I find it hard to believe that some taxi drivers are so rude and lacking in compassion.
