The road is lined with office buildings. The hotel lobby is plain, with few ornaments and no seating area. The front desk is made from a light MDF wood-style material and is long and thin. The staff on the front desk are friendly and helpful in answering questions. The hotel is most likely to appeal to customers who require a close proximity to Sants station but it is worth noting its location on a large main road with a lot of traffic. Barcelona’s main tourists spots are not in walking distance of the hotel. However, the area of Eixample, in which the hotel is based, has its own attractions. It is known for being an affluent area, with many luxurious bars and restaurants. The proximity close to Estació Sants is also useful for tourists hoping to make day trips out of the city. Trains from Estació Sants head to destinations such as Sitges, Figuerés and the South of France. Hotel Facilities:There is no pool or gym in the hotel. There is no restaurant. However, buffet breakfast is served for 12 euros. It is served from 7:00 – 10:00 during the week and from 07:30 – 11:00 at weekends. There is no bar in the hotel. It is a lovely place to spend a sunny afternoon. The hotel is also a 15 minute walk from Gran Via Corts Catalanes. This is a large road that leads from Plaza Espanya to Plaza Universitat. It is the home of some interesting shops, such as the Altair travel bookshop. It is also the home of Barcelona’s famous bakery – Escriba. The hotel is 15 - 20 minutes walk from Plaza Espanya. This is the home of the Fira de Barcelona – one of Barcelona’s largest conference centres. Business people attending conferences at the convention centre will find he hotel conveniently located. How to Travel from the Airport to the Hotel:Via Taxi: A taxi from the airport should take about 25 minutes and cost around 25 – 30 euros depending on traffic and luggage. Via Train: The RENFE train leaves the airport every half an hour and will take you to Estació Sants in 25 minutes. You can either use the T10 transport ticket from the airport (T10 costs 7.70 euros for 10 separate journeys on Barcelona public transport) or you can buy a single fare ticket for 2.80 euros. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the station. Via Bus: Take the 'Aerobus' to Plaza Espanya from directly outside the airport. The Aerobus generally runs every 10 - 15 minutes and the journey time is 30 minutes. From Plaza Espanya you can catch the Green Line on the metro to Estació Sants, from here the hotel is a 5 minute walk.
