The Aston Hotel Barcelona is a smart but homely hotel that has been recently built and provides comfortable accommodation a bit out of the city centre. The atmosphere is welcoming and the decoration is classical.
Hotel Facilities
The Aston Hotel has a coffee shop which is also where the buffet breakfast is served every morning. Parking is available and the reception can help you with anything you may need such as sending faxes and laundry. The hotel offers a small but welcome outdoor swimming pool/ jacuzzi and a terrace on which to lounge during those hazy summer days. The reception area has also got a large lounge where you can relax and read the papers.
Business Facilities
There are 2 meeting rooms for all your functions, both are 50 metres squared and can hold up to 60 people. However there are also other spaces in the hotel which can be adapted for functions. The rooms are soundproofed and air-conditioned. They also feature 220v connections, mic connections, multiple connection phones and digital plug-ins. Extra services include a translation service, coffee breaks and audiovisual technology.

Just next to the Aston hotel is a crossroads of Paris with Comte Urgell and on these crossroads you will find a café, a bank, a pharmacy, a petrol station and Spain's favourite sandwich shop Pans & Company. The hotel is within walking distance of the city centre but it would take about 20 to 25 minutes.

However the metro stop hospital clinic is a short walk away and from there you can get to Diagonal, at the top of Passeig de Gràcia in one stop. Otherwise, strolling through the part of Eixample where the hotel is located is a pleasure and there are many striking buildings. The business district near Diagonal is also very close.

Public transport transfer options
Via Taxi A taxi from the airport will take about 25 minutes and cost around €25.00 - €30.00 depending on traffic and luggage.
Via Train The RENFE train leaves the airport every half an hour and will take you to Passeig de Gràcia station in about 25 minutes and costs €3.80 for a single ticket. You then have to change at Passeig de Gràcia for the Green Line 
Metro to Diagonal and then change for the Blue Line to Hospital Clinic . Your hotel is a short 5 minute walk from the metro.
Via Bus The Aerobus will also take you from the Airport to Catalunya station and costs €5.75. The journey time is around 30 minutes. From Catalunya you need to take the Green line metro to Diagonal and then change for the blue line to Hospical Clinic. Your hotel is a short 5 minute walk from the Metro.
