The hotel sits on a steep and leafy street leading away from Avenida Diagonal. There is a small pathway with a quaint wooden hanging sign leading to the doorway of the hotel. The hotel lobby is long and bright with wooden floors. A room to the left of the lobby contains a television and stripy beige couches. Random art hangs on the walls – elaborate golden frames containing oil portrait paintings sit alongside black and white prints of abstract Gaudi photos. There is also a computer area in the room.

The hotel has a general sunny disposition due to its large amount of windows and exceptionally friendly front desk staff. It is located in an area that will suit specific needs rather than a tourist destination.

How to Travel from the Airport to the Hotel:

Via Taxi: A taxi from the airport should take about 25 minutes and cost around 25 – 30 euros depending on traffic and luggage.

Via Train: The RENFE train leaves the airport every half an hour and will take you to Estacio Sants in 25 minutes. You can either use the T10 transport ticket from the airport (T10 costs 7.70 euros for 10 separate journeys on Barcelona public transport) or you can buy a single fare ticket for 2.80 euros. From Estacio Sants take the metro on the Green Line to Maria Cristina, from here the hotel is a 10 minute walk.

Via Bus: Take the 'Aerobus' to Plaza Espanya from directly outside the airport. The Aerobus generally runs every 10 - 15 minutes and the journey time is 30 minutes. A single will cost 4.25 euros. From Plaza Espanya take the Green Line on the metro to Maria Cristina, from here the hotel is a 10 minute walk. Alternatively, if you have a lot of luggage, a taxi from Plaza Espanya would take 10 minutes and cost around 10 – 12 euros.
