Best Western Premier HTC Dante Hotel is located in the Eixample district. This area is known for being one of the most glamorous and affluent areas of Barcelona – popular amongst the well-heeled locals. The hotel is located slightly outside of the most popular and busy areas of the district, but is still within ten minutes walking distance of places such as Passeig de Gracia and Rambla de Catalunya.
The hotel is large with a relatively plain exterior. Big windows ensure that light floods into the lobby area, where a spiral staircase can be viewed on entrance. The front desk is long and staff are helpful in answering questions. There is an area where large black couches are positioned next to the windows.
The hotel is likely to be particularly popular amongst business people, with four large meeting room areas.
Hotel Facilities:
The hotel does not have a pool, fitness centre or spa. However, hotel customers are provided with a pass to a fitness centre a five-minute walk from the hotel. This fitness centre offers running machines, weights, a Jacuzzi, sauna and pool.
The hotel restaurant offers buffet breakfasts at 18.26 euros per person. It is served from 07:00 – 10:30. After breakfast the area becomes a café space and snack bar, open from 11:00 – 23:00. It serves hamburgers, sandwiches (around 7 euros) and pizzas (starting at 9 euros).

This market has a distinctive statue of a child looking down over shoppers as they enter through its large gates. The hotel is a ten-minute walk from Rambla de Catalunya. This is a charming street that is dotted with cafés, chocolate shops and restaurants. There is a Taller de Tapas on Rambla de Catalunya. This is a popular tapas chain in Barcelona. It offers a great lesson in tapas tasting for first timers – menus are available in English, seating is at tables rather than along a bar and staff are helpful in answering questions. The tapas are also very authentically Spanish.

The Ramblas is a fifteen-minute walk from the hotel. The Ramblas is popular amongst tourists for people watching and street entertainers. It is also a useful place to find necessary amenities such as internet cafés, banks, pharmacies, bureaus de change and supermarkets.
How to Travel from the Airport to the Hotel:
Via Taxi: A taxi from the airport should take about 25 minutes and cost around 25 – 30 euros depending on traffic and luggage.
Via Train: The RENFE train leaves the airport every half an hour and will take you to Passeig de Gracia in 25 minutes. You can either use the T10 transport ticket from the airport (T10 costs 7.70 euros for 10 separate journeys on Barcelona public transport) or you can buy a single fare ticket for 2.80 euros. You can then change to the metro and catch the Green Line to Diagonal which links by-foot to Provença metro station (exit Calle de Provença). The hotel is a ten-minute walk from the metro station.
Via Bus: Take the 'Aerobus ' to Plaza Catalunya from directly outside the airport. The Aerobus generally runs every 10 - 15 minutes and the journey time is 30 minutes. From Plaza Catalunya take the metro to Provença, the hotel is a 5 minute walk from the metro station. Alternatively if you have a lot of luggage, a taxi would take 5 minutes and cost 6 – 8 euros.
