Evenia Rosselló Hotel is located in the heart of the Eixample area – often said to be the most affluent and glamorous area of Barcelona. The hotel is a fifteen-minute walk from areas such as Passeig de Gracia, Plaza Catalunya and the Ramblas.

The hotel itself has a large lobby area that is very bright, due to the numerous lights that line it’s ceiling. A café area sits at the left of the space, allowing a feel of bustle into the area. Behind this there is a restaurant. A large mural of letters cascading down the wall, to form the word ‘Barcelona’, covers one wall.

The hotel is likely to be of particular interest to businesses, providing a meeting room at the centre of a district with a relatively string focus on business.

Hotel Facilities:

The hotel does not have a pool, fitness centre or spa. The hotel restaurant offers buffet breakfasts for 14.50 euros plus tax per person. It is served from 07:00 - 10:30 during the week and 07:30 – 11:00 at the weekends and on public holidays.

The hotel bar is in the lobby and is open from 08:00 – 23:00. It also serves snack food.

The hotel allows smoking on only one of its seven floors. Smoking is also not permitted in the hotels public areas.

The hotel is located in the area of Eixample. This district of Barcelona is well-known for its glamorous bars and restaurants and is popular amongst locals, as well as tourists. Around the corner form the hotel, on Erica Granados, it is possible to find Ottimo Restaurant. This eatery is favoured for its interior design. It has a 1950s air of glamour with banquettes and mirrored walls.

Balthazar Restaurant

Balthazar Restaurant, at Calle Rossellò 189 is also very nearby. With exposed brick walls, low lighting and a trendy clientele. It is known for its surprising affordable and quality ‘Menu del Dia’ (set lunch three course menu). With the same owners as (‘Quinze Nits’ – a restaurant on Plaza Reial that is never without a queue) it makes a virtue of offering affordable food in surroundings that allow the customer to feel like it is an occasion.

Ice cream lovers will find it hard to resist Cremeria Toscana, on Calle Muntaner 161, a worryingly convenient two-minute walk from the hotel. The shop is known for offering the creamiest ice cream in town.

The hotel is a ten-minute walk from the top end of Rambla de Catalunya. Those wishing to take the fifteen-minute walk to the Ramblas and Plaza Catalunya should consider taking a stroll down this street. It has a pedestrianised section running down its centre and a large selection of bars and cafés with out door terraces.

The Ramblas is the place where all general amenities can be found, such as banks, pharmacies, internet cafés and supermarkets. However, you are likely to be able to find many of these closer to the hotel.

How to Travel from the Airport to the Hotel:

Via Taxi: A taxi from the airport should take about 25 minutes and cost around 25 – 30 euros depending on traffic and luggage.

Via Train: The RENFE train leaves the airport every half an hour and will take you to Estació Sants in 25 minutes. You can either use the T10 transport ticket from the airport (T10 costs 7.70 euros for 10 separate journeys on Barcelona public transport) or you can buy a single fare ticket for 2.80 euros. From Estació Sants you can catch the Green Line to Plaça del Centre (exit Pl. del Centre). The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the metro.

Via Bus: Take the 'Aerobus ' to Plaza Catalunya from directly outside the airport. The Aerobus generally runs every 10 - 15 minutes and the journey time is 30 minutes. From Plaza Catalunya a taxi will take 15 minutes and cost 10 - 12 euros. Alternatively, you can catch the Green Line on the metro from Catalunya to Plaça del Centre (exit Pl. del Centre). The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the metro.
