Where is The Eurostars Grand Marina Hotel Barcelona?

The Grand marina hotel Barcelona is about 10 - 15 minutes walk from the Southern most end of the Ramblas, near Monument a Colum - the memorial to the great explorer Christopher Columbus. As the name suggests, The Gran Marina hotel is in the marina area of Barcelona, near to where the cruise ships dock. From the hotel you will have great views of the Marina and Port Vell which is adjacent to the tribute to Christopher Columbus - Colum.

The Grand Marina hotel Barcelona is only 10 minutes walk to the Southern most end of the Ramblas and its quite safe to walk to and from the hotel during the daylight hours.

However after dark it would be safer to catch a taxi from outside the hotel to take you to where you want to go. A 10 minute cab journey will only cost you about €5.00 (use our currency converter to see how much it would be in your currency) and you can go practically anywhere in the heart of the city center with a 10 minute ride from the Grand Marina hotel. Although the hotel is close to the Ramblas to get there you would have to walk down a quiet and isolated road. This would not be recommended especially as at night as the Southern most end of the Ramblas can be rather seedy.

One advantage to staying at the Grand Marina Hotel is you have ready access to the heart of the city center without all the associated noise that you would get if you were staying right in the heart of the city center. Staying at the Eurostars Gran Marina would mean a good nights sleep which you will appreciate if you have a busy day sightseeing ahead of you.

There are no restaurants, bars or clubs immediately around the Grand Marina Hotel Barcelona but the hotel is only 5 minutes cab journey to the foot of the Ramblas and 10 minutes to other areas where there are plenty of restaurants and Bars. This means you get all the advantages of a hotel in a quiet location but with ready access to the city centre.

At the end of this quad you would turn right and have a 10 minute walk to the Southern most end of the Ramblas.
