The H10 Itaca Hotel Barcelona is another hotel in the H10 chain which provides comfortable, clean and convenient accommodation for business people and tourists. Nothing immediately stands out about the hotel, it is plain and simple, the staff are helpful and friendly and it is all you could ask for a weekend stay as they provide you with a good range of facilities. I spoke to a guest and they said that having stayed at an H10 hotel the year before they had become converts and stayed in them ever since where possible. The restaurant also has a buffet breakfast with fresh pastries every morning for 14 euros. The hotel has a small garage for those who travel by car. There is a laundry service, currency exchange and car hire available. There is a Wi-Fi zone near the coffee corner and a business corner with free internet access. The hotel can help you arrange any tours that might take your fancy, and you can have a newspaper every morning. How to travel from the airport to the hotelVia Taxi A taxi from the airport should take about 25 minutes and cost around 25 - 30 euros depending on traffic and luggage. Via Train The RENFE train leaves the airport every half an hour and will take you to Barcelona Sants (Estacio de Sants) in about 20 mins and costs 2.60 Euros for a single ticket. The hotel is about 5 mins walk from the station. Via Bus You could take the Aerobus cost 4.05 Euros from the Airport and get off at Placa Espanya from here catch the green line metro to Barcelona Sants (Estacio de Sants). and very close to a supermarket in case you forgot anything at home,
or you want a picnic! A short walk from the hotel is the attractive
area of Eixample where there are a good range of bars and clubs.
In the opposite direction Sants Estacio metro stop is a 5 minute
walk away. The metro will take you into the city centre in 10 minutes.
You are also in walking distance of Barcelona’s train station
Sants where you can get a direct train to the airport. Other sites
of interest such as Montjuic and Placa Espanya are a 5 minute metro
ride away.
