Comfy beige couches line the opposite wall and low wooden coffee tables add a touch of style. Abstract paintings line the walls and a large painting of a diving lady sits behind the front desk. There is a bar area towards the back of the lobby. A plasma screen next to the lift screens amenities available at H10 hotels and provides an unwelcome reminder that this hotel makes up part of a large chain group.

The hotel is located a 2 minute walk from Plaza Catalunya. This square has a large area at its centre where people can watch the world go by. The square is home to some large chain shops and restaurants like Hard Rock Café, FNAC (electrical and music store), Sephora (cosmetics store) and Habitat (home furnishings store).
