|Reservation Information For The Hotel AC Barcelona Forum|
AC hotels group has a huge number of establishments, 7 in Barcelona alone, however this Hotel AC Barcelona Forum is their flagship, the hotel they believe is their greatest to date - this should give you an idea of what to expect. It is clear from the moment you step into the hotel that a lot of attention has been paid to design, the use of space and colour. This is never more apparent than on the planta natura which is 700 metre square of space set aside to relax and rejuvenate you, and from where you can see the beach which is a short walk away. The Hotel AC Barcelona Forum is also unbeatable in its location for business purposes. It is one of the nearest hotels to the International Convention Centre (CCIB).
One of the best features of this hotel is to be found on the 13th floor. There you will find the planta natura, which consists of a spa overlooking the sea, an outdoor swimming pool, 3 Jacuzzis, a normal massage room and a gym. There is also a café with healthy snacks (open in summertime). Apart from the café there is a 24hr restaurant called Dia y Nit. All the hotel's features are of avant-garde design, you will find no hint of the traditional here. The Hotel AC Barcelona Forum has its own underground parking and easy access for the disabled.
More than anything this hotel is ideal for business, not only because of its privileged location but it also has an impressive business centre. The business centre comprises of 13 meeting rooms with a top capacity of 530 people. The rooms are all open plan and thus let in a lot of natural light. The centre has its own reception area and facilities (e.g. photocopying, fax ) All the rooms are fully equipped with state of the art audio visual equipment and Wi-Fi technology.
All together there are 368 rooms, 240 of which are standard rooms. These all have a free mini-bar, internet connection, sound system, and many rooms at the top of the hotel have gorgeous views out onto the beach. The décor of the rooms continue the hotel's knack for good design with an oriental influence. The bathrooms are black marble and have a hairdryer, bathroom supplies and interestingly a soap the shape and texture of a golf ball which is meant to provide a massage as you wash!

The Metro stop Maresme Forum is 5 minutes walk away, and will take you into the centre of the city in 25 minutes so your sight-seeing and cultural immersion trips are only a short ride away. Nearer to home you have the beach a 5 minute walk behind the hotel. Opposite the hotel is a large new complex called Diagonal Mar which consists of all types of shop, restaurant and entertainment. The Forum area is relatively new and already built up with hotels and businesses, however the government has made an effort to keep as much greenery as possible. A 2 minute walk away is the Diagonal Park which is a thoroughly pleasant place to have a walk or rest on some of the modernist wave-style benches.
Banking, eating and clothes shopping are all well catered for in the Diagonal Mar complex opposite. If you want to buy your own food, and maybe have a picnic on the beach, then there is also a hypermarket in the complex. At night you may want to try a little further a field. The Olympic village is a short taxi ride away and has all sorts of different bars and clubs, and even an Irish pub if you don't want to miss the game.
