There you will find the planta natura, which consists of a spa overlooking the sea, an outdoor swimming pool, 3 Jacuzzis, a hydro-massage area, a normal massage room and a gym. There is also a café with healthy snacks. Apart from the café there are 2 other eateries, a 24hr restaurant called A´Dalt and another café. The business centre comprises of 13 meeting rooms with a top capacity of 530 people. The rooms are all open plan and thus let in a lot of natural light. The centre has its own reception area and facilities (e.g. photocopying, fax ) All the rooms are fully equipped with state of the art audio visual equipment and Wi-Fi technology. These all have a free mini-bar, internet connection, sound system, and many rooms at the top of the hotel have gorgeous views out onto the beach. Facilities in the location of the hotel AC BarcelonaBanking, eating and clothes shopping are all well catered for in the Diagonal Mar complex opposite. If you want to buy your own food, and maybe have a picnic on the beach, then there is also a hypermarket in the complex. At night you may want to try a little further a field. The Olympic village is a short taxi ride away and has all sorts of different bars and clubs, and even an Irish pub if you don’t want to miss the game. How to travel from the airport to the hotelA taxi from the airport should take about 25 minutes and cost around 25 -30 euros depending on traffic and luggage. The RENFE train leaves the airport every half an hour and will take you to Passeig de Gracia station, in about 25 mins and costs 2.60 Euros for a single ticket. You then have to change here for the yellow line metro. Your nearest metro stop is Maresme Forum and the hotel is a short 5 minute walk from the metro. The Aerobus costs 4.05 Euros and will also take you to Placa Catalunya in just over 30 minutes. At Catalunya you need to catch the Green line metro to Passeig de Gracia and then change again for the yellow line metro to Maresme Forum and the hotel is a short 5 minute walk from the metro. The Metro stop Maresme Forum is 10 minutes walk away, and will take
you into the centre of the city in 25 minutes so your sight-seeing
and cultural immersion trips are only a short ride away. Nearer
to home you have the beach a 5 minute walk behind the hotel. Opposite
the hotel is a large new complex called Diagonal Mar which consists
of all types of shop, restaurant and entertainment. The Forum area
is relatively new and already built up with hotels and businesses,
however the government has made an effort to keep as much greenery
as possible. A 2 minute walk away is the Diagonal Park which is
a thoroughly pleasant place to have a walk or rest on some of the
modernist wave-style benches.
