The Hotel Apolo Tryp is mostly advertised as a business hotel and has impressive business facilities. However the Hotel Apolo Tryp great location just a 10 minute walk to Las Ramblas means that it is suitable for tourists as well.
Hotel Facilities
The Hotel Apolo Tryp has a restaurant that serves all meals, as well as a café where you can get snacks from 20:00 till midnight and set lunch menu from 13:00 - 16:00. There is also a lobby bar where you can relax after work.
The hotel doesn’t have it’s own gym on the premises but there is a gym and sports hall 20 metres away from the hotel that the patrons are able to use free of charge. There is however a car park under the hotel.

Las Ramblas and the centre of town a 10 minute walk away. If walking isn’t your thing then the metro stop Paral.lel is outside the hotel. There is a cash machine both in the lobby and just outside the hotel. Paral.lel also boasts a large number of cafes, Chinese restaurants and bars all along it. There is a pharmacy and a fruit and vegetable shop just opposite the hotel, as well as a newsagent.
How to travel from the airport to the hotel
Via Taxi A taxi from the airport should take about 25 minutes and cost around 25 - 30 euros depending on traffic and luggage.
Via Train The RENFE train leaves the airport every half an hour and will take you to Passeig de Gracia station in about 25 mins and costs 2.80 Euros for a single ticket. From Passeig de Gracia station you need to change for the Green Line  Metro to Paral.lel and your hotel is right outside the metro stop.
Via Bus The Aerobus will also take you from the Airport to Placa Espanya and costs 4.25 Euros. The journey time is around 30 minutes. From Espanya station you need to take the green line metro to Paral.lel and your hotel is right outside the metro stop.
