Hotel Condes Barcelona is a smart 4 Star hotel located in central Barcelona on a street famous for it’s architecture and designer stores. The building dates back to 1872 and the lobby still has some of its original features. This hotel is exceedingly popular because of its location and facilities.

The spacious lobby leads onto a piano lounge with a well-stocked bar. There is also a roof top bar, the Terrace, which has views onto the busy street below and out over the city. The hotel has 2 swimming pools, one indoor and one outdoor. There is a small gym and the hotel guests have access to a nearby fitness centre where you can enjoy sports such as squash. Noise might be a problem because the hotel is located on quite a busy crossroads, so if you are a light-sleep ask for interior rooms or rooms on the upper floors where noise will be less of a problem.

The central location of the hotel Condes makes it a great base for sight-seeing and shopping. Passeig de Gracia is lined with luxury shops and also has 2 of Gaudi´s emblematic buildings on it. Placa Catalunya and Las Ramblas with all its street performers is a 10 minute walk away. From here you can wander into the historic areas of El Raval and the Gothic Quarter. In Placa Catalunya you will find Corte Ingles which is a department store with an internationally stocked supermarket. You will find a pharmacy down the road at number 26.
The shopping on Passeig de Gracia means that there is a bank almost every 2 blocks, the nearest to the hotel is just to the left. There area also many cafes and restaurants for you to choose from. The metro stop is 2 minutes away and if you need a pharmacy there is one at no. 26.
How to Travel from the airport to the hotel
Via Taxi A taxi from the airport should take about 25 minutes and cost around 25 - 30 euros depending on traffic and luggage.
Via Train The RENFE train leaves the airport every half an hour and will take you to Passieg de Gracia Station, in about 25 mins and costs 2.60 Euros for a single ticket. The hotel is a 3 minute walk from the station.
Via Bus The Aerobus will also take you from the Airport to Catalunya station and costs 4.05 Euros. The journey time is around 30 minutes. Once at Catalunya station you need to catch the green line metro to Passeig de Gracia and the hotel is a 3 minute walk from the station.
