The Hotel Monte Carlo Barcelona has no restaurant, which is fine when you are surrounded by good restaurants to choose from. However there is a room where there is a buffet breakfast for 14 euros every morning. There is also a bar where you can have your aperitifs.
There is a laundry service at the hotel and on-site parking which costs 19 euros. Room service is available from 12:00 until 23:00. The hotel also has a small terrace where you can lie and relax in the sun.

Also across the road is a large Carrefour Express supermarket where you can find a good range of food and cosmetics. If you need the internet then turn left out of the hotel and walk for 5 minutes and there is a telephonic emailing facility.
You are also in walking distance of attractions such as Gaudi´s buildings on Passeig de Gracia, the Gothic Cathedral and the museums and little cafes in El Raval across the street.
How to travel from the airport to the hotel
Via Taxi A taxi from the airport should take about 25 minutes and cost around 25 - 30 euros depending on traffic and luggage.
Via Train The RENFE train leaves the airport every half an hour and will take you to Passeig de Gracia station, in about 25 mins and costs 2.80 Euros for a single ticket. Your hotel is a short 10 minute walk from the metro.
Via Bus The Aerobus will also take you from the Airport to Catalunya station and costs 4.25 Euros. The journey time is around 30 minutes. From Catalunya you have a short 2 minute walk to the hotel.
