The hotel provides comfortable and basic accommodation. There is a small lounge with a TV, and a café/ snack bar in the lobby area. Parking is available close to the hotel. There is a currency exchange and dogs are also allowed in the hotel if you happen to be travelling with pets.
While the hotel is central and therefore near to Barcelona's business districts, the hotel itself has no business facilities.
The Hotel Suizo has 60 rooms. The hotel is central and therefore be prepared for some noise, especially if your room faces out the front of the hotel. The rooms all feature a telephone, heating/ air-conditioning, a TV, mini-bar, safe and a hair dryer. There are rooms for the disabled.

One of the best things about this hotel is undoubtedly its location in a small Plaça in the Gothic Quarter. There is a bakery right next to the hotel and just in front of it is a café.

There are also several tapas places surrounding the hotel. Turn right up Calle Ferran and there is a pharmacy as well as shops and more cafes. This is also the quickest route to Las Ramblas and you get to wander through Plaça Sant Jaume with it's imposing government buildings. Just left of the hotel on the Plaça is a bank and in front of the hotel is the metro stop Jaume 1 which is one stop from Barceloneta and the beaches.
The advanced booking transfers below are independent of the the public transport system. This means if there is a public transport strike these services will continue to operate as normal and you will not be affected by the strike action.
Minibus shared transfer (advanced reservation required)
A shared minibus transfer option is cheaper than the private transfer. You would need to make your way to designated meeting point at the airport.
Private transfer (advanced reservation required)
With a private transfer service the driver will be waiting for you at your arrivals gate. He will have a board or a sign with your name on it so that you can easily identify him. The driver will help you with your bags to the vehicle and then drive you to your hotel.
Via Taxi A taxi from the airport should take about 25 minutes and cost around €25.00 - €30.00 .
Via Train The RENFE train leaves the airport every half an hour and will take you to Passeig de Gràcia station, in about 25 minutes and costs €4.10 for a single ticket. You then have to change here for the Yellow Line Metro to Jaume I and your hotel is outside the metro stop.
Via Bus The Aerobus will also take you from the Airport to Catalunya station and costs €5.90 . The journey time is around 30 minutes. From Catalunya you need to take the Green Line Metro to Passeig de Gràcia and then change again for the Yellow line for Jaume I and your hotel is outside the metro stop.
A simple, basic hotel right in the centre of town, surrounded by the main amenities you may need during your stay. Best for tourists and those who don't mind the possibility of a little noise at night.
