The hotel is in a mainly residential part of the district of Gracia, but is within walking distance to the centre of Barcelona and one of the city’s business districts. How to travel from the airport to the hotelVia Taxi A taxi from the airport will take about 25 minutes and cost around 25 - 30 euros depending on traffic and luggage. Via Train The RENFE train leaves the airport every half an hour and will take you to Passeig de Gracia station, in about 25 mins and costs 2.60 Euros for a single ticket. You then have to change here for the Green Line Via Bus The Aerobus will also take you from the Airport to Catalunya station and costs 4.05 Euros. The journey time is around 30 minutes. The hotel Via Augusta Barcelona is located along the busy road "Via Augusta" which leads from Diagonal, Barcelona’s longest thoroughfare. The hotel is surrounded by mostly residential blocks but a bit further down the road towards Diagonal there are many little shops and boutiques. Shops also mean banks and there are also 
plenty of these. At no. 50 is the closest bank and also a pharmacy. The nearest metro stop is Fontana which is only 3 stops away from Placa Catalunya which is the centre of the city and marks the top of Las Ramblas. However Gracia itself is also a very pleasant area to wander round and has many cosy cafes and different shops.
Metro to Fontana and your hotel is a short 7 minute walk from the metro.
