The hotel has a plain and modern exterior. The lobby area has cream marble floors and squidgy black leather sofas in the corner. A small telephone area sits behind the front desk behind a sheet of glass providing privacy. One wall is lined with stylish black and white photos with a weathered sea theme. A narrow marble staircase leads to a second seating area housing cream leather swivel chairs. Behind this, there is a small television room with about 6 seats.
The hotel is likely to appeal to travellers with a specific reason to be in the Les Corts area. Although the area has its own local Spanish charm it has little by way of tourist attractions.
There is no pool or gym in the hotel.
There is no restaurant. However, buffet breakfast is served in an area off the lobby. It is served from Monday - Friday 07:00 - 11:30 and Saturday - Sunday 08:00 - 11:30 . It costs €8.50 per person.

Prisma Hotel Barcelona is located at the heart of the Les Corts district. It is a 5 - 10 minute taxi journey from Sants train station. This is Barcelona's largest and busiest train station, with trains leaving to destinations throughout Spain. This makes the hotel convenient for travellers incorporating Barcelona in a Spain-wide trip. It is also useful for those coming from Barcelona Airport - direct trains go to and from the airport on a regular basis.
It is also worth remembering that many of Barcelona's satellite towns are places of interest and beauty. Trains leave Barcelona Sants station to destinations including Sitges, Girona and Cadaques (indirectly).
The hotel is also located a 2 minute walk from Travessera de Les Corts. This long road runs all the way to Camp Nou - Barça's football stadium. Shoppers will also be pleased to note that the hotel is a 5 minute walk from El Corte Inglés - this is one of Spain's famous department stores. It offers everything from clothes, to cosmetics to groceries all under one roof.
A bus stop sits directly across the road from the hotel. The number 59 bus runs on a regular basis and will take you to Plaza Catalunya in approximately 15 minutes.

A shared minibus transfer option is cheaper than the private transfer. You would need to make your way to designated meeting point at the airport.
Private transfer (advanced reservation required)
With a private transfer service the driver will be waiting for you at your arrivals gate. He will have a board or a sign with your name on it so that you can easily identify him. The driver will help you with your bags to the vehicle and then drive you to your hotel.
Via Taxi: A taxi from the airport should take about 25 minutes and cost around €25.00 - €30.00 .
Via Train: The RENFE train leaves the airport every half an hour and will take you to Estacio Sants in 25 minutes. You can either use the T10 transport ticket from the airport (T10 costs €9.95 for 10 separate journeys on Barcelona public transport) or you can buy a single fare ticket for €4.10 . The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the station. Alternatively, if you have a lot of luggage, a taxi would take 5 minutes and cost €8.00 - €10.00.
Via Bus: Take the 'Aerobus' to Plaza Espanya from directly outside the airport. The Aerobus generally runs every 10 - 15 minutes and the journey time is 30 minutes. A single will cost €5.90 . From Plaza Espanya take the Green Line to Estacio Sants, from the metro station the hotel is a 10 minute walk.
Prisma Hotel Barcelona is a standard 2 star hotel in the heart of the Les Corts district. Its location is lore likely to appeal to business people requiring close proximity to Barcelona's business hub, than to tourists. Tourists may prefer a hotel closer to the Ramblas and the 'old town'.
