|The beach surrounding the W hotel|
If the 'W' of W Hotel stands for 'wow', then the hotel's creators have definitely achieved their aim. The large glimmering hotel cuts an impressive shape on the city's skyline, the interior is modern and slick and the services seemingly cater for your every need. The hotel's location and modern appearance make no real attempt to offer a genuine or traditional Barcelona experience. But if you are looking for a holiday of beaches, relaxation and pampering, this could be Barcelona's number one choice for you.
