- A Day Trip to Montserrat
November 24, 2004
Hola,
This month we
have 3 special articles for your attention.
A day trip to Montserrat which for many is the highlight of their
trip to Barcelona.
But to start
with let me ask you a quick question. Would you rather stay in a
hotel room or in your own private holiday apartment?
Holiday Apartment
Insider Tips
Holiday apartment
rental accommodation offers you so much more than a hotel room.
Just imagine
your own private apartment with lounge, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom
and modern conveniences of home.
Now, I can almost
hear you from here, “Of course we would prefer to stay in
an apartment but surely it’s too expensive”
Well, the answer
to that is nope, that’s not necessarily the case in Barcelona
– not if you know where to look. In fact a holiday apartment
rental can work out the same price as a standard hotel room (or
less if there are more than 3 people in your party) Click

Montserrat
– the trip of a lifetime
The Benedictine
monastery in the mountains of Montserrat is for some, the highlight
of their visit to Barcelona. The retreat offers you mountain walks
with stunning views of Catalonian countryside, the Benedictine monastery,
which is famous for its choir boy performances and the Holy Grotto
- a pilgrim shrine where in 880 heavenly visions where witnessed
by the community and an image of the Virgin Mary was found at the
site of the visions.
This article
also has sound clips accompanying the text and pictures so remember
to turn up your PC speakers! The sound clips are a new idea so let
me know what you think. If you would like more sound then perhaps
I will add more audio to the site – but remember folks it’s
your vote that counts - let me know by clicking on the Contact Us
link on the site navigation bar and send me your comments. Click
