La Rambla Drinking Fountain - Does it have magical Properties?

Do not underestimate the power of the water from the La Rambla drinking fountain. Folklore says that if you drink from this famous fountain at the top of La Rambla you will always return to the city. I'm not superstitious however I drank from the fountain in 1993 and now I live here!

Little do the unsuspecting people shown in the photo below know they will be coming back to Barcelona every year from now on. Notice how fervently they are drinking from the fountain. Like I said, the water from this fountain has a magical quality. Do you dare to drink from the La Rambla fountain?
