If you are taking a cruise that starts, ends or stops off at Barcelona cruise terminal there is the possibility that you will need to stay in a hotel that is close by. Barcelona is a relatively small city, ensuring that most hotels in the city centre will be reachable within twenty minutes or less in a taxi. However, if you want to squeeze every last second that you can out of Barcelona, it is worth staying in one of the hotels that is closest to the cruise terminal. There are two hotels that actually fall within the port's premises. However, there are also other hotels close by.

Eurostars Gran Marina Hotel

This is perhaps the closest of all of the hotels to the port. It is a five star establishment located in the World Trade Centre - a large modern building that over looks the port. How to get to Eurostars Gran Marina Hotel from Barcelona cruise terminal:

If you arrive into Terminal A, B, C or D:
See our Guide to transfers from the Adossat Quay Terminals to the City centre. If you take the shuttle bus to the bottom of the Ramblas you will be abut ten minutes walk from the hotel. A taxi will take about five minutes and cost about €5.00.

If you arrive into Terminal North, East or South:
You are already at the World Trade Centre building in which the hotel is located. This means that you can simply walk to the hotel in well under five minutes.


W Hotel Barcelona

How to get to the W Hotel Barcelona from Barcelona cruise terminal:

If you arrive into Terminal A, B, C or D:
See our Guide to transfers from the Adossat Quay Terminals to the City centre. The easiest option for getting to W Hotel is to take a taxi - this will take approximately ten minutes and cost about €10.00.
If you decide to take the shuttle bus, on arrival at the bottom of the Ramblas you will still not be in walking distance of the hotel, so you will need to take a taxi from Portal de la Pau to the hotel.

If you arrive into Terminal North, East or South:

It is worth noting that the two hotels that are closest to the Barcelona port that are listed above are five star hotels. You may be arriving in Barcelona and looking for something slightly cheaper. The port sits at the bottom of the Ramblas, so the hotels will be a short distance away on a taxi or bus.
