A: Yes, there are van taxis that operate from Barcelona Airport. But it is important to note that Spanish Law states the maximum number of passengers in any official Barcelona taxi, including Van Taxis, is 4 passengers.  Although a Van taxi will not take more than 4 passengers it does offer more room if you have bulky luggage. There are not as many van taxis as the standard taxi so you may have to wait a little longer than for a normal taxi. You will just need to ask the attendant at the taxi rank outside of Barcelona Airport that you need a taxi van. When the next taxi van arrives you will then be assigned to it. Barcelona airport has good availability of all types of taxi so I do not expect you would have to wait too long.
