Q: Will be in Barcelona on evenings of 27th, 28th and 29th April. Were hoping to see the Magic Fountain (Font Magica) light show with its changing colours. Can you please inform me if the fountains will be illuminated every night on the afore-mentioned nights.

A: These are the operating hours and date for the Magic Fountain of Montjuic:

October to April
Fridays and Saturdays: 19:00, 19:30, 20:00 and 20:30

May to September
Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday: 21:00,21:30, 22:00, 22:30 and 23:00
Closed: There are no performances of the Magic Fountain on Monday Tuesday And Wednesday.

If the fountain is undergoing maintenance then a show obviously will not perform however we are not privvy to that information. For the very latest information on the Magic Fountain of Montjuic I recommend you visit the official website.

The magic fountain is one of my favourite attractions in Barcelona. I live just 10 minutes walk from the Magic Fountain and still go there regularly!
