A: Who gave you that information, because it is inaccuate. Of course you will be able to take a taxi from the airport to any apartment or hotel in Barcelona centre. 

We find there is a lot of inaccurate information circulating the internet either posted by tourists who visit the city for a few days only or by other websites that post up inaccurate and unchecked information. Poor quality tourist information can lead to more trouble than no information. I recommend you check carefully before you trust information you read online if it is not from a proven quality source with an established track record.
