How To Complain About Taxi Service In Barcelona?

Q: My hausband and I came to Barcelona last week, we were unable to get a taxi to take us to the bus station, I telephoned Radio Taxi who said they would send a cab I explained my husband is a wheelchair user and we needed a big taxi, when it arrived the driver saw the wheelchair and refused to take us. A number of Radio Taxi's refused to take us because of the wheelchair. Eventually the Police assisted us and told a taxi driver he must take us. We missed our bus and it cost 130 euros to go to the plane. I find it hard to believe that some taxi drivers are so rude and lacking in compassion.

A: I am sorry to hear of your experience. I recommend that you raise an official complaint about this incident with the Metropolitan Institute of Barcelona Taxi Service. They have a full complaints procedure that you can follow. You will need the Registration details / number of the taxi that you had the complaint with.
