Transfer Options Hotel Barcelona Princess To BCN Airport And City Centre?

Q: How can we travel from Barcelona airport to the Hotel Barcelona Princess in the Forum area? What would be the best form of public transport from the hotel to Barcelona city centre? How far from the hotel are the metro or bus stops?

A: Please see the different options from the Barcelona airport El Prat to the Hotel Barcelona Princess and the transfer possibilities by public transport to the city centre below:

Barcelona airport transfer to Hotel Barcelona Princess

A taxi from the airport should take about 25 minutes and cost around 25 -30 euros depending on traffic and luggage (you need to pay a supplement for the luggage).

The RENFE train leaves the airport every half an hour and will take you to Passeig de Gracia station in about 25 mins and costs 3 Euros for a single ticket. Here you catch the metro Metro: Passeig de Gracia (Yellow Line, L4), direction La Pau, to get off at MetroMetro: El Maresme Forum (Yellow Line, L4). The hotel is a short 5 minute walk from the metro.

The Aerobus costs 4.25 Euros and will take you to Placa Catalunya in just over 30 minutes. You then have to catch the metro at Metro Metro: Catalunya (Green Line, L3), direction Trinitat Nova, to get off at Metro Metro: Passeig de Gracia and change here for the yellow Line Metro Metro: Passeig de Gracia (Yellow Line, L4), direction La Pau, to get off at Metro Metro: El Maresme Forum (Yellow Line, L4). The hotel is a short 5 minute walk from the metro.

Transfer from Hotel Barcelona Princess to the city centre

By metro: The nearest metro stop from the Hotel Barcelona Princess is Metro Metro: El Maresme Forum (Yellow Line, L4). If you take it direction Trinitat Nova, you arrive to the city centre getting off at Metro Metro: Passeig de Gracia (Yellow Line, L4).
By bus: The metropolitan bus 7 has its terminal at Avenida Diagonal/ Llull. You can catch it there and head for the centre to get off at Passeig de Gracia (there are three different stops for Passeig de Gracia).

By tramway: You can also catch the Tram Baix T4 at Forum or El Maresme, direction Ciutadella/ Vila Olimpica, but it does not go directly to the centre, you would need to change and catch the Metro Metro at Glories or Marina (Red Line, L1), direction Hospital de Bellvitge and get off at Metro Metro: Catalunya.
