Public Transport From Barcelona Airport to Kabul Hostel Near Ramblas?

Q: I am planning to stay at the Kabul Hostel. Is the hostel just off Las Ramblas? How far Barcelona airport is from Las Ramblas and at what distance? Where exactly is the city centre of Barcelona?

A: Indeed, the Alberg Kabul Youth Hostel is located just off the Ramblas at Placa Reial (the Royal Square).

You have three public transport options from Barcelona airport El Prat de Llobreget to the Kabul Hostel

A1 Aerobus (The express shuttle bus service from Barcelona airport to the city centre)

The Aarobus runs every 12 minutes from outside all three parts of Terminal 2 and Terminal 1 of Barcelona airport you would get off at the stop Placa Catalunya. The ride to Placa Catalunya will take 30-40 minutes, depending on the traffic. From Placa Catalunya you have a 5-10 minutes walk down Las Ramblas until arriving to Placa Reial. Instead of walking you could catch the Metro: Placa Catalunya (Green Line, L3), one stop to Metro: Liceu (Green Line, L3) . This is the quickest and most direct option if you do not want to spend the money on a taxi.

Train
You can also take the RENFE train from the airport, but you will need get off at Passeig de Gracia and there catch the metro from Metro: Passeig de Gracia (Green Line, L3), to Metro: Liceu (Green Line, L3). This option will take you about one 40 minutes.

Taxi
The third option is to take a taxi from outside the airport to Las Ramblas next to the hostel. This is the quickest, but not the cheapest solution.
