Q:  Where can I buy the tickets for the Airport bus (Express bus Aerobus A1) ? Can I buy the tickets in advance of my trip? How much are the tickets?  I would like to make sure I will be able to catch the bus and that it will not be full by buying my ticket in advance.  I have a lot of luggage will there be enough room on the bus to store it? How long does the ride take into the town centre Placa Catalunya from the Airport?

A: Where to purchase your bus tickets: The tickets for the A1 Aerobus shuttle bus can only be purchased on the bus itself as you are entering. If you are travelling from Terminal 1 this is your only option. If you are travelling from Terminal 2 you can also buy a ticket from a machine at the bus stop before you get on the bus. You cannot pre-book or pre pay for the tickets.

Price of Airport Bus Tickets:  The tickets cost 4.25 euros for a single and 7.30 euros for a return.

Capacity of Bus: Do not be concerned about the bus being full. The buses are rarely full to capacity - and even if an exceptional circumstance was to happen and the bus was to be full the buses run every 10 minutes from all 3 Airport terminals so you would not have long to wait before the next one arrives. 

Luggage Facilities on the Airport Bus: The Aerobus has a large rack-luggage storage area in the middle of the bus where you can put your suitcases whilst you are sitting down. 

Travel Time To The Town Centre From Airport:  The ride into the town centre will take about 30 minutes from the airport.
