Q: I am staying at a hotel in central Barcelona, I will be traveling to watch a Barcelona FC football match. I would like to know how far is my hotel from the Camp Nou stadium? 

A: The first thing you need to do is to obtain the full postal address for the hotel you are staying at. Then once you have this use the Barcelona Town Council online Barcelona Map (Link given below) to look up the location of your hotel. The next thing you need to do is to show the nearest metro stop (underground) to your hotel. You can do this by clicking on the link that says "Transportes y Servicios Relacionados" on the town council map. Then click the Metro box and then click "Aplica" which is at the foot of the page. This will then take you back to the map that will show you the locations of all the metro stops next to your hotel.

Once you know the nearest Metro stop to your hotel you can use our Barcelona Metro Map to find the best route to the Barcelona FC Camp Nou Stadium.   The nearest stop to the Barcelona FC stadium is "Collblanc" Metro: Collblanc (Blue Line, L5).   The stadium is only 5 to 10 minutes walk from the Collblanc stop. For an estimate of the journey time on the metro count the number of stops to your destination and multiply by 2 minutes. If there are any changes add another 10 minutes to this calculation and you will have a rough time for you journey.
