This City Park hotel Barcelona which is hidden away on a quiet corner of Sants was opened in 1992.

Hotel Facilities

Zapellin is the hotel’s restaurant which has international food as well as a few Catalan dishes. The restaurant also has an out door terrace which is open during the summer. There is a small but well-stocked bar in the lobby called Maximilian. The hotel has a laundry service and parking for 20 cars.

Business Facilities

There are 3 meeting rooms. One is a hall measuring 140 square metres which is for banquets and conventions. The other two rooms are equipped with all the technology you would expect and can hold from 15 to 90 people.

Rooms

There are 80 rooms in the City Park Hotel Barcelona and although they are quite small they all have a small outdoor area. The rooms are soundproofed but the road on which the hotel is situated is very quiet anyway. The rooms are all equipped with satellite TV, internet connection, a safe, minibar and a trouser press. The bathroom has a hairdryer.

Hotel Location and Facilities

The City Park hotel Barcelona has a park just outside although it’s not the most pleasant park I’ve ever seen. However the road on which the hotel is located does have a lovely restaurant/ bar whose specialty is Galician meats. The Metro stop, Sants Estacio, is 2 minutes away on Calle Numancia and has a direct metro to the centre of town in 10 minutes. Also on Numancia there are cash points, supermarket and an internet café. You could also walk to Placa Espanya in about 15 minutes to visit Montjuic and the Magic Fountain.

How to travel from the airport to the hotel

Via Taxi A taxi from the airport should take about 25 minutes and cost around 25 - 30 euros depending on traffic and luggage.

Via Train The RENFE train leaves the airport every half an hour and will take you to Barcelona Sants (Estacio de Sants) in about 20 mins and costs 2.60 Euros for a single ticket. The City Park Hotel is about 2 mins walk from the station.

Via Bus You could take the Aerobus cost 4.05 Euros from the Airport and get off at Placa Espanya from here catch the green line metro to Barcelona Sants (Estacio de Sants). From Barcelona Sants the hotel is a 2 minute walk.
