The Hotel Ronda Barcelona is located just off a little placa on the busy Ronda Sant Antoni which leads to Placa Universitat in the centre of the city.  It has a good, central but quiet location in this residential part of El Raval.

The Hotel Ronda has a simple restaurant with a set lunch menu of 11.90 euros.  In the lobby there is a soda/ water and snack machine and a lounge area well-stocked with magazines.  There is also a phone for the guests in the lobby. 

Parking is available for your stay at an extra cost of 18 euros, and the hotel has wheelchair access.  The 24 hour front desk attended by multi-lingual speaker and can offer a currency exchange and fax services.  There is a left luggage store-room and a small café/ bar for snacks and drinks.

Hotel Location and Facilities

The location on the hotel is central, in a mainly residential part of El Raval.  The main road closest to the hotel is Ronda Sant Antoni which is well-known for being the place to go to buy electronic goods.  However there are also quite a few good terrace cafes, in fact there is one right next to the hotel.  At the end of the road, near to the Sant Antoni metro stop there is an internet place and a couple of banks. 

In this area you also can’t miss the Sant Antoni market which is a great place to buy fresh food or grab a snack within the market stalls.  You can walk from the hotel to the centre of town, Placa Catalunya and Las Ramblas in under 10 minutes.  El Raval is also home to some great bars, clubs and museums.

How to travel from the airport to the hotel

Via Taxi A taxi from the airport should take about 25 minutes and cost around 25 - 30 euros depending on traffic and luggage.

Via Train The RENFE train leaves the airport every half an hour and will take you to Passeig de Gracia station in about 25 mins and costs 2.60 Euros for a single ticket. You then have to change for the Purple line metro one stop to Universitat and your hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the metro stop.

Via Bus The Aerobus will also take you from the Airport to Universitat square and costs 4.05 Euros. The journey time is around 30 minutes. From Universitat square you have a 5 minute walk to the hotel.
