The NH Podium Hotel Barcelona is located in a quiet residential area near the picturesque Arc de Triomf. The hotel is modern, though it has conserved its early 20th century façade, and a 20 minute walk from the centre of the city.

Corella is the name of the hotel’s restaurant which serves a menu del dia costing 35 euros. There is also a tasting menu on offer. In the lobby area there is a lounge with a TV, a bar and a piano for the live music in the evenings. In the summer the hotel also has an outdoor terrace café.  The nearest metro stop is Arc de Triomf and is a short walk away. However you can easily walk into the centre of Barcelona in about 10 minutes.
The hotel also has the benefit of being close to the Palau de La Musica and also the Parc Ciutadella which is a beautiful place to wile away a sunny afternoon.
How to travel from the airport to the hotel
Via Taxi A taxi from the airport should take about 25 minutes and cost around 25 - 30 euros depending on traffic and luggage.
Via Train The RENFE train leaves the airport every half an hour and will take you to Passeig de Gracia station, in about 25 minutes and costs 2.60 Euros for a single ticket. From here you need to change for the purple line metro to Tetuan. The hotel is then 8 minutes walk from the metro.
Via Bus The Aerobus will also take you from the Airport to Catalunya station and costs 4.05 Euros. The journey time is around 30 minutes. From Catalunya you need to take the red line  metro to Arc De Triomf and from here you have a 5 minute walk to your hotel.
