Site Visitor Review: H10 Catalunya Plaza Hotel

If you want a very centrally located hotel in Barcelona I would definitely recommend H10 Catalunya Plaza Hotel!

It's lovely to walk outside straight onto Plaza Catalunya square with the big water fountain, cafes and shops. The airport bus takes you straight there.

La Rambla is two minutes walk on your right and on your left is a metro station - Catalunya. The hotel location is brilliant.

The hotel itself is very clean, comtemporary, staff are very friendly and say hello (hola), you get complimentary cakes and champagne, free internet access and all the usual hotel stuff. But what I liked most was the location... if you want a great trip to Barcelona where you don't want to waste time travelling around and want to stay out at night in the warmth right outside your hotel, this is a good choice (in my opinion!)

Editor's Note: There are two hotels in Barcelona with very similar names. These are the Catalunya Plaza hotel which is in Plaza Catalunya and then there is the Catalonia Plaza hotel which is in Placa Espanya. Make sure you're booking the right hotel!
