1. Barcelona Airport transfer options to Sitges
There are a few means of transport to Sitges from Barcelona Airport:
1. Private car with a driver

The Bus Garraf service
3. The RENFE train (includes a change of train at Barcelona Sants rail station).
Which one you take will depend on your flight details because the Bus Garraf service only runs approximately every 30 minutes to 1 hour (depending on what time of day you are travelling). It will also depends on which Terminal at Barcelona Airport you are flying into. There are two terminals at Barcelona Airport - Terminal 1 (T1) and Terminal 2 (T2) (T2 has three separate sections T2A, T2B and T2C ).
The Bus Garraf service to Sitges only departs from T1. Therefore, if you are arriving into T2, you will need to take the free shuttle bus to T1 to catch the Bus Garraf coach to Sitges.

The Bus Garraf service to Sitges - Leaving from outside T1 Barcelona airport
The Bus Garraf service runs from Barcelona airport to the following stations and includes the popular destination of Sitges.
Barcelona City Centre (Ronda Universitat) > Barcelona Gran Via > Barcelona Airport T1 > Sitges >
Sitges >Barcelona Airport (T1) > Barcelona Gran Via > Barcelona City Centre (Ronda Universitat)
The stops are in order of direction but remember that the Bus Garraf runs in both directions from the airport so make sure you get the bus that is going in the direction you want.

A suggestion -- you might want to warn people that at least on Friday afternoon, the Bus Garraf to Sitges from the airport can be standing room only. Two of us travelling at different times last Friday encountered this. It wasn't too bad, but it could surprise people.

There are three options to transfer from Barcelona Airport to Girona:

RENFE Train from Barcelona Airport to Barcelona Sants and from Barcelona Sants to Girona

To get to Girona from Barcelona Airport you have to first catch the RENFE train that leaves from the airport T2B and then change at Barcelona Sants station.
Therefore, if you are arriving into T1, you will need to take the free shuttle bus to T2 to catch the RENFE train to Barcelona Sants station.

From Barcelona Sants station you need to catch the train headed towards Figueres and then get off at Girona which is 2 stops before. Remember if you are going to Girona Airport you will then have to catch a bus from Girona centre or take a taxi to the airport. Ensure to allow for this time which is approximately 30 minutes.

Bus Service "Alsa" from Barcelona Airport (BCN) to / or from Girona
This bus service leaves from outside both T1 and T2 of Barcelona Airport and will take you to Girona or Figueres. It begins at T2 and then continues to T1 before carrying on to Girona and then Figueres. Transport time to Girona is 1 hour 50 minutes from T2 and 1 hour 35 minutes from T1.
