Booking your airport transport in advance online
The advanced booking transfers below are independent of the the public transport system. This means if there is a public transport strike these services will continue to operate as normal and you will not be affected by the strike action.
Minibus shared transfer (advanced reservation required)
A shared minibus transfer option is cheaper than the private transfer. You would need to make your way to designated meeting point at the airport.
Private transfer (advanced reservation required)
With a private transfer service the driver will be waiting for you at the designated meeting point given to you on the booking voucher. You will be travel in one of the following car types (or similar): Volkswagen Passat, Skoda Superb, Citroen C5 or Peugeot 407. The driver will help you with your bags to the vehicle and then drive you to your hotel.
Business class private transfer (advanced reservation required)
This is the highest quality private transport service specifically for people wanting a business-class quality service. This service is more expensive than the other transfer services however you will be travelling in a higher quality vehicle than a regular private transfer. Mercedes vehicles are used and will be one of the following: Mercedes E Class, Minivan Mercedes and V Class Mercedes depending on the number of people in your group. The driver will be dressed appropriately for a business environment - dark suit and white shirt and will assist you with your luggage. The pickup point at the airport is specified on your booking voucher. This service is suitable for business clients, VIP pick ups or if you have a special occasion.

Travelling by Taxi is a low cost and convenient way to get from the airport to the city centre, especially if you have a family or a lot of luggage.
You will find a taxi rank outside any of the main terminal exits Terminal 1 (T1) or Terminal 2 (and of the 3 buildings of Terminal 2 - T2A, T2B or T2C). Look for the sign pointing to the nearest taxi rank. The taxis operate all night and there are several hundred of them so you don't have to worry about not being able to catch a cab.
The journey to the city centre will take you between 20 to 30 minutes depending on road conditions. If you are travelling from Terminal 1 rather than Terminal 2, this will add an extra 4 km to your journey and take approximately 5 minutes more.
If you have special needs or need a cab specially adapted for passengers with a disability call this number:

Surcharges added for travelling to/from the airport, cruise terminal or an exhibition centre, late night travel or travel during public holidays. All rates and surcharges are clearly displayed on window stickers in the cab.
