|Barcelona airport shuttle bus|
If you are looking for the shuttle bus service between the airport and the city centre please see the Related Pages below for the Aerobus express bus service.
Terminal 1 (T1) and Terminal 2 (T2) at Barcelona Airport are 4km apart. Therefore, if you need to go from one terminal to the other you will not be able to walk. Barcelona Airport provides free shuttle buses that run between the two terminals. The buses are green and so you should be able to distinguish them from the other buses outside the airport.
Nobody likes waiting around in long queues to get their COVID test. The Express COVID testing service we recommend only works by appointment ensuring that you get tested when you need to without having to queue. Getting your COVID test in the city centre before your flight or cruise offers many advantages over getting tested in the Airport or from a cruise liner. You have your certificates on time without a rush, you have time to correct inaccuracies on your certificate and you have time to re-arrange your flight or other travel plans if you should test positive. To learn more about how to get your COVID travel certificates valid for planes, cruises and other transport, follow one of the links below to learn more.

The shuttle bus leaves from three different places. If you wish to catch the shuttle bus from T2 to T1 you will find the bus stop underneath the bridge outside T2B.
If you wish to catch the shuttle bus from T1 to T2 you will find the bus stop directly outside T1.
Alternatively, if you are catching a connecting flight, there are free shuttle buses that are available air side i.e. without having to enter the terminal building. You should check with your airline as to whether one of these will coincide with your flight.
The main shuttle buses from outside both terminals T1 and T2 run every 6 - 7 minutes, 24 hours per day.
The shuttle bus journey lasts 10 - 15 minutes.
