This is a view of Barceloneta beach just as you arrive.

There are palm trees along the route and you have a large open walkway that stretches all the way from Barceloneta to Icària beach, the next beach along from Barceloneta beach.

Around this area you will find a wide selection of Bars and restaurants serving fresh sea foods. But you wont find many hotels in this area. The reason is that there is a lot of competition for the available space. If you want accommodation by the beach a good idea is to look into a holiday apartment rental which can work out about the same as hotel accommodation if you know what to do.
