The Palau de Congressos de Catalunya, otherwise known as El Palacio de Congressos de Cataluña is on the North Eastern side of Barcelona on Avenida Diagonal. Avenida Diagonal is a large road that runs right across the whole of Barcelona. The centre is located in up-town Barcelona, close to the Camp Nou football stadium and right next to the large Fairmont Rey Juan Carlos I hotel. The nearest Metro Zona Universitaria on the (Green Line, L3) and is only 5 minutes walk from the metro stop.

There are 3 main ways to get to the conference centre from Barcelona Airport
1) Aerobus (Express bus service) and Metro
You catch the Aerobus outside of any of the Airports 2 terminals and get off at Plaça España. From Plaça España it is necessary to take the Metro - catch the green line from España to Zona Universitaria.
Travel time approximately 50 minutes.

2) RENFE Train and Metro
Catch the RENFE Train from the airport to Barcelona Sants and then change at Barcelona Sants for the metro (Subway) to Zona Universitaria. They are both on the green line.

Attractions Close to the Palau de Congressos de Catalunya Conference Centre
The Palau de Congressos de Catalunya Conference Centre is located at the top end of Barcelona's financial and business district. It is a ten minute walk from Barcelona FC's Camp Nou stadium.
Close to the stadium you will also find many restaurants, cafes and a shopping centre. If you do not wish to take the walk, you can catch the Metro two stops, from Zona Universitaria to Maria Cristina.
Due to the congress centre location in the financial district, it is necessary to catch the Metro to head into Barcelona's city centre and the tourist attractions. A Metro journey to the heart of the city centre will take approximately 20 minutes.
