Boulevard Club in Barcelona: The Music, The Crowd, The Location, The Times and the Vibe
Page Content
What?
Boulevard (or BLVD to its friends) is one of Barcelona's most central clubs - sitting right smack in the centre of the Ramblas. Despite its tourist-friendly location, it is popular amongst the locals as well as the international crowd. They come to dance in the atmospheric old strip club.
Boulevard Club has a capacity of about 1000 people over three dance floors. The music policy is focused on eclectic, covering old favourites such as house and techno, alongside newer genres such as dub step and pop. DJs on the line-up are normally local and the styles will change depending on what night you're there.
Who?
Boulevard is a meeting place and melting pot for a younger Barcelona crowd. You will find yourself dancing amongst tattooed Argentines, pretty Swedes and trendy Catalans. The location also means that there's a healthy dose of tourists and backpackers, lured by flyerers surrounding the spot.

Why?
Because Boulevard offers eclectic music in a quirky space amongst a young and energetic crowd. If you don't like the music in the first room, you can head to the second and then the third. And when the party stops and it's time to head home you'll find yourself in the beating heart of Barcelona with kebabs and taxis aplenty.
