COVID Travel Certificates: FIT-TO-FLY, FIT-TO-SAIL, VeriFLY, FIT-TO-TRAVEL

All the COVID certificates issued by the testing centre on this page are valid travel certificates known as "FIT-TO-FLY", "FIT-TO-SAIL" / "FIT-TO-CRUISE", "VeriFLY, or "FIT-TO-TRAVEL". These certificates meet the testing requirements that enable you to travel on a plane, cruise ship, train or any other transport and to any destination in the World.

VeriFLY is an app that some cruises and airlines use to verify COVID travel documentation. The certificates issued by the testing centre we recommend are VeriFLY compatible - make sure you inform the testing centre if you want to upload your certificate to VeriFLY on the day of your test to ensure they issue the correct certification.

FIT-TO-FLY (COVID travel certificates airline travel)
For flight travel certificates, you should inform the testing centre of your destination country. For example, if you are flying to Japan, the certificate's requirements are very different from those if you were flying to an EU country.

For cruise ships, it is important to specify the name of the cruise ship you will be boarding because they have different requirements for the travel certificate. How to get your special discount

We have secured a discount off the normal price of the coronavirus test. You will receive your discount voucher by completing and submitting the form on this page. You will receive an email with full instructions about how to get to the testing centre and how to redeem your discount voucher. The discount is for each test you book and will only be applied at the clinic when you present your voucher number. You would also need to present your voucher number to identify your test appointment with the clinic. If you do not present your voucher at the testing centre the clinic will not be able to find your reservation and therefore may not be able to test you. Therefore it is very important to ensure to bring the voucher with you and present it at the testing centre reception to ensure your appointment is found and that you will get your discount off your test.

Show your voucher at the testing centre reception either on your mobile or a print out. You will also need to write your voucher number down on the consent form that the testing centre will give you when you arrive at the clinic.

To get your voucher for your express antigen test, fill out the form below and submit it.

If you´re making a reservation for 2 people or more, you will only need to provide the details of one of you in the booking form below and then select the total number of people who will need a test. E.g. If you´re making a booking for yourself and a friend or yourself and a family member, you will only need to provide your first name, last name, email, passport or ID number and your telephone number, and under “Number of people taking the test”, you select 2 people.

You do not need to make a separate booking for your friends or family members as long as you´ve selected the right number of people under “Number of people taking the test” in the form below. Then when you arrive at the clinic, you will check in with your voucher number and your name, and the reception staff will request the details of the additional persons included in your booking. By booking your COVID test this way, you can be guaranteed that you and your friends or family members will be tested simultaneously. If you fill in the forms separately, you might not get the same appointment time.

You will also receive separate confirmation email with your exact appointment time. You will need to show your confirmation voucher to get tested at the testing centre and to get your special discount. You can either show your confirmation voucher from your mobile phone or print it out.

It is essential that you only turn up at the time that was appointed to you by the testing centre. If you attempt to turn up at any other time the testing centre will not test you. Appointments for testing are necessary to ensure the testing centre can give you the express testing service with no waiting times. If your plans change then you should contact the testing centre to reschedule or cancel your appointment.

After getting tested, you will get a travel antigen test certificate, the document you need for taking flights, cruises, trains or other transport to another country. Please note that some countries request antigen test certificates issued by ISO 15189 accredited laboratories. If that's the case for your destination country, make sure to inform the test centre when you check in at the reception before getting tested. This test centre can provide antigen test certificates issued by their ISO 15189 accredited laboratory upon request.

If you want to get tested on these dates, we recommend getting tested the day before or just after. If you need to get tested for travel reasons on these dates, we recommend you carefully check the time frame your destination country requires you to take your test. Depending on your destination country, you will have to take your COVID test within 72, 48 or 24 hours before your flight, enabling you to get tested the day before or the day after the public holidays given above.

This test centre is accredited by the Catalan Health Entity -called Cat Salut- to report your antigen tests results to Cat Salut so that you can get your EU Digital COVID Certificate for your antigen test.

Appointment time for your test

This testing centre only works with appointments. Getting tested at a medical centre that works with appointment will enable you to get tested at your appointment time, without having to wait in line for hours before getting tested. Sometimes, testing centres can get very busy for COVID tests and reach their maximum capacity. Having an exact appointment time ensures that you will get your test done on your confirmed appointment day and time and that you will receive your test results on time for your flight.

On the booking form on this page, you will be able to select your preferred time range for your appointment.

After filling out the form, you will receive to your email address a COVID test confirmation voucher with a voucher number and detailed instructions on how to to get tested at this testing centre. You will also receive a separate confirmation email with your exact appointment time.

When checking in at the reception of the test centre, before getting tested, make sure to inform them that you need a test certificate issued by an ISO 15189 laboratory.

There will also be a QR code on your antigen test certificate that contains the above-mentioned information. The test will be signed by a doctor, and the name of the doctor and his registration number will also show on your certificate.

Official VAT invoice provided? This centre can provide an invoice upon request. If your home-country health or travel insurance covers COVID-related expenses abroad, you will need to send them the invoice for your test along with your claim for reimbursement. If you need an invoice, make sure to request it at the front desk of the testing centre, after paying for your test.

Can I get a EU digital COVID certificate with this antigen test? The testing centre has confirmed that the antigen test certificates they deliver are issued in a format and with information that are suitable for travel to any country in the world as their certificates meet the requirements requested by the international authorities and therefore contain information on the type of test performed, data on the type of test and brand used, patient data, where it was performed and are signed by a qualified doctor.

The testing centre will give you a FIT-TO-FLY antigen test certificate, that is valid for travel, but the certificate you’ll receive is not the EU COVID digital certificate.

However, as this test centre is accredited by the Catalan Health Entity -called Cat Salut- to report antigen tests results of European citizens to Cat Salut, you will also be able to get a EU Digital COVID Certificate for your antigen test.

If you're a EU citizen, you wil be able to issue your own EU Digital COVID Certificate from the Cat Salut website -which is not always a straightforward process- or you can pay a small administration fee at the testing centre for the testing centre to do it for you for a hassle and stress-fee experience, which we recommend. This service is available for EU and non EU citizens that want to get a EU Digital COVID Certifcate for their antigen test.

If you decide to issue your EU Digital COVID Certificate on your own for free, you should be able to do it from the Cat Salut website by providing the Passport or ID number you provided at the testing centre and entering the verification code you'll receive by SMS to the mobile phone number you provided at the testing centre. You can change the language of the Cat Salut website from Catalan to Spanish or English by clicking on the language of your choice at the top right hand side of the website. In case you get any issue during the issuing process on your own, the test centre won't be able to assist you at that stage.

Can I get a antigen test certificate issued by an ISO 15189 accredited laboratory? Can i get a copy of the ISO 15189 accreditation of the laboratory? If you're flying to a country that requests that your antigen test certificate is issued by an ISO 15189 accredited laboratory, make sure to inform the test centre when you check in at the reception of the test centre. You will get your antigen test certificate issued by the ISO 15189 accredited laboratory of the test centre. However note that you will receive your antigen test certificate issued by the ISO accredited laboratory to your email address within the time frame shown below:

You will also get a copy of the ISO 15189 accreditation of the laboratory the test centre works with so that you can show it to the authorities of your destination country if requested. There's no additional cost to pay to get your certificate issued by an ISO 15189 accredited laboratory or to get a copy of the ISO 15189 accreditation of the laboratory.

If, in addition to the antigen test certificate issued by the ISO 15189 accredited laboratory, you also want to get the standard antigen test certificate issued by the test centre for some reason, then the test centre will also hand-deliver to you your standard antigen test certificate.

Delivery time for standard certificate after your test: 15 Minutes

Languages spoken by the customer support team at this testing centre: The staff at this testing centre speak English and Spanish however you will receive your voucher confirmation email and your appointment time confirmation in your own language.

If you receive a reply from the testing centre in a language you do not understand you can use Google Translate to translate their response to your own language.

Steps to get your antigen test in Barcelona:

1. After filling out the form above, you’ll receive your confirmation voucher by email with your voucher number. Read carefully the instructions indicated on your confirmation voucher.

2. You will receive a separate confirmation email with your exact appointment time.

3. Go to the testing centre at your appointment day and time and present your confirmation voucher. You can either show your confirmation voucher from your mobile phone or print it out. You will be asked to sign a form with your personal information, which will be used by the testing centre to prepare your antigen test certificate so make sure to fill in the form in capital letters and in a readable way, with no errors. You will also need to write down your voucher number on the form to get your special discount off the normal price of the test.

4. You will pay for your test at the special price we have secured for you, directly at the front desk of the testing centre before getting tested.

5. Get tested.

6. You will receive your rapid antigen test results by email.

How to cancel your test if you are finally not going to this testing centre: It is very important for the testing centre to know the exact number of patients they will have each day for them to plan their testing capacity accordingly and provide a better service to you.

Please only fill out the form above to get your COVID test voucher if you’re sure you’ll go to this testing centre to get your test. If after filling out the form above and getting your confirmation voucher you decide not to go the testing centre on the test date you selected, please reply to the email you’ve received with your confirmation voucher and simply tell us you’re cancelling your test.

Can minors take a COVID test at this testing centre?

Yes, minors under 18 can get a COVID test at this testing centre. The requirements for minors to get tested vary depending on whether the minor gets tested without their parents or legal guardian or with their parents or legal guardian:

Minors getting a COVID test WITHOUT their parents or legal guardian:

Minors under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult (i.e., a person of at least 18 years of age).

Minors from the age of 14 can get tested without being accompanied by another adult and can go to the testing centre by themselves.

Minors under the age of 18 will need to bring:

1. A printed authorization signed by his parents or legal guardian. The testing centre will provide the authorization by email upon request. You will first need to make your appointment request by filling out the form above. Once the testing centre confirms your exact appointment time by email, you´ll need to request them to send you the authorization that will need to be filled out and signed by the parents or legal guardian of the minor.

Important: The date that you’ll need to write at the very bottom of the authorization needs to be the date of the test.

2. A printed copy of the Identity Document of the parent or legal guardian that has signed the authorization.

Minors getting a COVID test WITH their parents or legal guardian accompanying them to the testing centre:

For minors under 18, the parents or legal guardian will need to sign an authorization and show their Identity Document at the test centre.

The authorization will be given to you at the test centre. The parents or legal guardians can print, fill out, and sign the authorization in advance if they want to. In that case, you will first need to make your appointment request by filling out the form above. Once the testing centre confirms your exact appointment time by email, you´ll need to request them to send you the authorization that will need to be filled out and signed by the parents or legal guardian of the minor and presented at the test centre the day of the test.

Important: The date that you’ll need to write at the very bottom of the authorization needs to be the date of the test.
