Q: I am looking for accommodation in Barcelona that has a sea view. Can you tell me which hotels, hostals/pensiones have a sea view in Barcelona?
A: There is a limited amount of accommodation in Barcelona that have a direct sea view. The sea front is mainly occupied by residential apartments or restaurants. There are a few hotels which have a sea view these I've listed below:
Barcelona Arts Hotel - offers spectacular sea view rooms along with views of Barceloneta beach. Make sure you specify a room with a sea view because the hotel has rooms at the back of the hotel where you do not have a sea view.
Eurostars Grand Marina hotel - Offers sea view rooms. These are of Port Vell and not the beach.

The other option is to consider an apartment rental which can offer you a beach view. You have more possibilities of finding an apartment with a sea view than a hotel. The area to look for is Barceloneta which is the main beach area in Barcelona.
