Q: Where can we take sailing or windsurf courses in Barcelona?

A: There are several places where you can practice water sports in and around Barcelona. Many of these places are along the coastline close to Barcelona.

The official Barcelona town council offer lessons on windsurfing catamaraning, kayaking and sailing:

MetroMetro: Poblenou (Yellow Line, L4), 12 minute walk from the metro

Other places where you can practice water sports are located on beaches outside Barcelona like Castelldefels or Sitges and these are reachable by train or bus. Here you can take sailing courses from the age of 12 years on. For other water sports, you need to be a member and bring your own equipment.
